So apparently if you want your personal information, new video game system or an unannounced game to get out in the wild just hand it off to Target. This morning Target accidentally went live with a the new Middle Earth: Shadow of War game by Monolith and WB games (releasing August 22nd), which was miraculously caught by a wonderful soul over on NeoGaf. It always blows my mind that someone happens upon these things, the dude who pushed it live probably realized it within a few minutes and pulled it down as fast as he could, unfortunately for him there was one fella who has access to post on NeoGaf that refreshes his Target "Middle Earth" search every morning for a few hours in hopes of scoring a deal better than $20. This morning he got much more than the deal he was hoping for.
The worst part is that WB Games had been teasing an announcement for March 8th which most likely was this much anticipated sequel even though most have thought it was related to a new Batman game. Don't worry WB, if anything this drummed up even more excitement and exposure than you ever imagine. I say give the guy a raise who leaked this on a boring Sunday morning. Check out below for the details on what we know so far about the $60 and $100 deluxe versions.
